IML Weekend at LRA!
In celebration of IML and LRA’s 6th Anniversary on Clark Street, we have
several great events coming up that you don’t want to miss; IML Friday,
Annual Fetish Ball, LRA Members BBQ and the IMsL Women’s Only Party.
Friday, May 28, 2010 – IML Friday @ LRA, 9pm
Come join us on after the opening events of IML for an evening at LRA.
Black Beat Chicago will be with us to join in the debauchery of IML
weekend. So come on out and kick off the weekend with us!
Saturday, May 29, 2010 – 6th Annual LRA Fetish Ball, 9pm
It’s our annual Fetish Ball and like the balls of the past, you don’t want
to miss it. Join us in your finest fetish wear or nothing at all! This
is your chance to wear (even if it’s nothing at all!) something special!
Because this is a special night for a special event, our regular dress
code doesn’t apply. So make sure you wear something special or kinky
or………well, you get the picture.
In addition to our regular play party, we have a couple of special events
occurring. The first will be the announcement of the recipients of our
2010 Hans Blanken Award, for service to LRA and the community.
Secondly, we are pleased to welcome the fabulous Tina Slash along with
Janet as our special guests. If you haven’t seen them in a while, this is
your chance to come out and see and talk to Tina and Janet!
We have another surprise, but we’re not revealing that just yet. You’ll
just have to come out and see it!
Sunday, May 30, 2010 – LRA Members BBQ, 12:00 noon until 6pm
This event is for LRA members and their guests. Join us for a BBQ in our
courtyard! We’ll be grilling up some burgers and hot dogs and other
items. We encourage LRA members to bring a dish to share with everyone.
This is a time for members to come and hang out with each other and share
a meal and good company. The company of perverts of course!
Sunday, May 30, 2010 – IMsL Women’s Only Party, 10pm
The International Ms Leather organization will be hosting a Women’s Only
Play party, which is open to Women, Trans, Queer folks. LRA is proud to
donate the space for this event, which feature a Celebrity Auction, will
help to raise money for both the International Ms Leather and
International Ms Bootblack travel funds, along with supporting the Women’s
History Leather project. This is a party you don’t want to miss!
As with all events at LRA, there is no charge to attend any LRA function.
You must be at least 19 years of age and have appropriate government
issued photo identification to enter.
