LRA Announces Membership Changes and our President Emeritus
Members and Friends of LRA,
At the most recent bi-annual Members Meeting of LRA, held on Saturday, October 3, 2009, the membership of LRA voted to change the minimum age for membership and attendance at our functions to 19. One of the reasons this change was made was to increase the educational opportunities that are available to the members of our community and make that education available to a wider range of people.
LRA has always prided itself on providing a safe and secure place where individuals can come and experience the many different aspects of our lifestyle and this change in age requirement is just another way to enforce that aspect.
Also changed at yesterday's meeting was the process in which one can join LRA. In order to become a member, in addition to being 19 or older, MUST visit LRA at least once, fill out and completely a signed membership application and waiver, and remit payment.
As a reminder, in order to visit LRA, one may request a guest pass by e-mailing guest-registry@lra-chicago.org or be guested in my a member of LRA. Guests of LRA are only allowed to visit 3 times in a rolling 90 day period. Any guests must also provide a government issued ID in order to gain admittance into the club.

Lastly, LRA is proud to announce that the Membership unanimously confirmed Lady Isis, immediate past president, as President Emeritus of LRA in recognition for her service and dedication to LRA. We are all grateful for the hard work that Lady Isis has put into LRA and honored to have her as our President Emeritus.
