LRA Membership Process
Greetings all,
Since there have been some inquiries lately, we thought we would put this information out regarding obtaining membership at LRA. The process is actually quite easy.
First, you must be at least 19 years of age or older with government issued photo identification.
Next, you must visit the club at least once prior to submitting an application. Attendance at our monthly demos or any of our monthly activities qualifies. At that time you will have the opportunity to both examine the club and talk to one of our Board Members about the benefits of LRA.
Then fill out and complete a membership application. You can get those at LRA or you can download them from our website -- http://www.lra-chicago.org/downloadfiles/lramembershipapplication.pdf. There you can see the different memberships that LRA offers which you may qualify for (regular, out of area, student). You can fill it out and hand it in to one of Board members of LRA or you can mail it to:

You must also read, sign and submit (no pun intended) a Members Waiver, which can also be provided at the club. Once the membership application is reviewed and approved (generally 3-5 business days), LRA will accept payment, via PayPal, check or money order. Cash, checks or money orders should be mailed to the address listed above.
It's that simple. Once those above steps are completed, you will be able to enjoy all of the benefits of membership at LRA.
