How to Take Their Breath Away: Oxygen and Blood Flow Play with Jim & Jerith
Breath play, the act of erotically asphyxiating your partner, is a sexual practice that has a long history and a large but mostly private following. During this seminar, Jim and Jerith will discuss the different methods of breath play, and demonstrate the pros and cons of each method. Since breath control is an activity that carries an inherent risk, it is important to understand anatomy and consequences when deciding to engage in this activity. Therefore, this presentation has a large section on the safety concerns of scening with oxygen.
Jim and Jerith will provide you with a nonjudgmental forum to ask your breath play questions and discuss not only how this type of play works, but also delve into what makes it erotic and controversial. They will also address the medical and practical issues involved, and talk about what it means to be an ethical and responsible breath player.
ABOUT JIM & JERITH:
Jim is an emotionally sadistic, fun-loving dominant who brings his sense of adventure and creativity into his scenes. He is a career military man who enjoys using the protocol and structure that he learned in the service in perverse ways at home. He's been teaching classes in the BDSM community for approximately 8 years, and loves emotional scenes, choking people, and scaring the shit out of his girl.
Jerith is a strong willed slave with a passion for scenes that challenge her and an even bigger penchant for mischief. She lives to find ways to make Jim's hair go prematurely gray, especially during play time. She loves to choke and gasp for air, and can often be found with a rope around her neck and one hand down her pants. She volunteers as the Education Director of Galleria Domain 2 in Chicago.
As a couple, Jim and Jerith find it important to give back to a community that has had such a large, important impact on their lives. Together, they are the founders of a former Master/slave discussion group in Virginia, although they can currently be found most weekend at one of the local Chicago play spaces. They've presented classes in Canada, up and down the Eastern Seaboard, and across the Midwest. They teach classes in Breath Play, Fear Play, Mind Fucks, Emotional Masochism, and a host of various edge play topics.

Throughout the seminar and at its conclusion you will have the opportunity to ask questions and get actual hands on practice. The fun and learning does not end there though.
All FIRST TIME seminar attendees will receive an invitation to return to the LRA that evening to practice all of what you have learned in our play space. This will give you a chance to try out what you have just learned as well as meet other club members.
All we ask is that you sign our standard guest waiver, have government issued photo identification to prove that you are over 21 years of age, and that you respect the fact that the LRA is an alcohol and drug free space and that no alcohol or drugs may be brought into the space or ingested at the LRA.
