Hello All,
Just a brief reminder of dungeon etiquette at LRA (and probably other
cubs/dungeons) as stated in our Membership Manual. Please look over this
and keep these items in mind. These items refer to both public and
private use of LRA. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel
free to contact us at member-services@lra-chicago.org.
Sincerely,
The LRA Board of Directors

Dungeon Etiquette
The following are a couple of the general rules of behavior and etiquette
regarding participation in the play space at LRA. When using the play
space, the Officer of the Day (OOTD), along with the appointed Dungeon
Monitor (DM) have the right to stop any scene they deem unsafe or that
violates the rules of the club. If you have any questions regarding the
rules or a planned scene, please see DM on duty or a Board Member. If you
have complaints about another member/visitor, please see a Board Member
for any clarification.
No means no.
When told no by a member/guest, that activity must stop immediately. If
someone does not consent to a particular activity, no matter how minor,
that must be respected.
Personal Space.
Do not touch, caress or fondle another member without express permission
and/or invitation. Individuals who violate the personal space of a member
or guest will be asked to remove themselves from the club and repeated
offenses may result in banishment from the club or legal action if
appropriate.
Scene participation.
When members are engaged in a scene, unless specifically invited, you
should never interrupt a scene, nor invade the space of said scene. While
watching a scene is acceptable, asking questions, getting a “closer look”
or anything that could be considered as intruding upon the scene are
strictly prohibited.
If you see something that you think looks dangerous, please
see the DM/OOTD, but do not approach the participants of the
scene directly. Also, if you would like to have a scene with one or
more person already engaged in a scene, make your request before
or after said scene, never during.
Use of equipment.
At the conclusion of a scene, please clean all equipment used with the
cleaning products that are provided in the various areas. This applies
even when all parties are clothed and/or barriers are in place. If you
move a piece of equipment, please notify the DM/OOTD prior to moving the
equipment, then at the conclusion of the scene, return it to its original
location.
Barriers.
While nudity is accepted at LRA, it is important that you keep a barrier
between your skin and the furniture when you or sitting or lying on
chairs, couches, stools, etc. This is a matter of both safety and
sanitation of our members.
Smoking, Other Beverages/Substances.
Use of tobacco, alcohol or any illegal drug is strictly prohibited. If a
member or visitor is thought to be under the influence of a substance, the
DM/OOTD or Board Member present has the right to ask the individual to
leave the premises. Repeated violations may result in banishment from LRA. Those
coming to the LRA who are determined to be under the influence of any
substance may be denied entrance to the premises by the OOTD or Board
Member.
DM/OOTD have final say!
The DM/OOTD have the final say in regards to play or other activities that
occur at LRA. Please respect their decisions. If you disagree with a
decision, please discuss it with the DM and/or OOTD. Individuals found
ignoring the judgment of the DM/OOTD will be removed from the premises.
